Texas High School Basketball - Bell can't hold off Heritage

(December 9, 2011: Colleyville, TX 76034) The Heritage Panthers basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Bell Raiders to 45 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grapevine for a 5A Region I District 6 contest on Tuesday, December 13. Heritage will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 58-30 league loss to MacArthur (Irving, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-7.

The Raiders (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, A&M Consolidated was nudged by The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX), 70-44, in a non-league contest.
