Arizona High School Basketball - Flagstaff overwhelms Mingus
(January 10, 2012: Flagstaff, AZ 86001) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Flagstaff Eagles (Flagstaff, AZ) and the visiting Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ), saw Flagstaff's basketball squad trounce Mingus by a count of 63-30.
With the victory, Flagstaff upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Kingman (Kingman, AZ) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Kingman 0-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ)
Next up, the Marauders play the Coconino Panthers (Flagstaff, AZ) in a II Section II challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Mingus will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 53-32 non-league loss to Winslow (Winslow, AZ).
