Texas High School Basketball - Barbers Hill overwhelms King
(January 10, 2012: Mt. Belvieu, TX 77580) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) and the visiting King Panthers (Houston, TX), saw Barbers Hill's basketball squad trounce King by a score of 79-24.
With the victory, Barbers Hill improves its record to 25-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Galena Park (Galena Park, TX) to meet the Yellowjackets in a 4A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, January 13. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a record of 1-15. Galena Park lost 56-34 in their recent league contest against Crosby (Crosby, TX)
The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lee (Baytown, TX). The Ganders come into the 4A Region III District 19 contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Lee was routed by North Forest (Houston, TX), 49-30, in a league contest.
