(January 10, 2012: Valley Mills, TX 76689) In Tuesday's league outing, the Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX) basketball squad knocked off the host Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX), by a margin of 39-29.
The Yellowjackets (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Itasca (Itasca, TX). The Cats go into the 1A-1 Region II District 15 outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Itasca was beaten by Centennial (Burleson, TX), 46-24, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meridian for a 1A-1 Region II District 15 outing on Friday, January 27.
