Texas High School Basketball - Lufkin thwarts Longview
(November 29, 2011: Lufkin, TX 75901) The Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) basketball felled the visiting Longview Lobos (Longview, TX), 44-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Kingwood (Kingwood, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region II District 14 test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Kingwood defeated Dobie (Houston, TX), 41-35, in a non-league test.
The Lobos now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6.
