Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Conard defeated by Notre Dame Catholic

(January 28, 2012: West Hartford, CT 06107) Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT) followers left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Conard Chieftains (West Hartford, CT), 8-2 in a non-league match.

The Lancers (4-8) will now prepare for their match against West Haven (West Haven, CT). The Blue Devils enter the non-league match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, West Haven was trounced by Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT), 5-2, in a league match.

Next up, the Chieftains clash with the Guilford Indians (Guilford, CT) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 1. Conard will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Branford (North Branford, CT).
