Virginia High School Baseball - King's Fork can't hold off Grassfield
(March 25, 2011: Suffolk, VA 23434) In Friday's league game, the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the King's Fork Bulldogs.
The Grizzlies (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks go into the AAA Southeastern game with a 2-1 record.
The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Bruins go into the AAA Southeastern game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Western Branch tipped Lakeland (Suffolk, VA), 16-3, in a league game.
