(February 3, 2012: Corpus Christi, TX 78412) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX) and the visiting South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX), saw King's basketball squad hold off South San Antonio by a score of 62-56.

With the victory, King improves its record to 14-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Highlands (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Owls in a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 6-25.

Next up, the Bobcats battle the East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. South San Antonio will attempt to improve on its 17-16 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 17-12 record after their 73-64 league win over Southwest (San Antonio, TX).
