Arizona High School Basketball - North Canyon topped by Browne
(January 17, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85024) The Browne Bruins basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host North Canyon Rattlers to 46 in the Bruins non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bruins now sport a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Tolleson for a I Section I contest on Friday, January 20. Browne will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 59-51 league win over Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Wolverines record now stands at 15-6.
The Rattlers (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds come into the I Section III contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Chaparral dropped by Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 50-39, in a league contest.
