Texas High School Basketball - South Grand Prairie ripped by Cedar Hill
(January 17, 2012: Cedar Hill, TX 75106) The Cedar Hill Longhorns basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting South Grand Prairie Warriors to 35 in the Longhorns league triumph on Tuesday.
The Longhorns now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Duncanville for a 5A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, January 20. Cedar Hill will confront a Panthers team coming off a 71-21 league win over Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 27-1.
The Warriors (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Gophers enter the 5A Region I District 5 contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Grand Prairie was routed by Mansfield (Mansfield, TX), 59-22, in a league contest.
