Oregon High School Basketball - Kennedy ripped by Scio
(January 11, 2012: Scio, OR 97374) The Scio Loggers basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Kennedy Trojans to 56 in the Loggers league triumph on Wednesday.
The Loggers now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Linn for a 2A Tri-River contest on Friday, January 13. Scio will meet a Cobras team coming off a 32-24 league loss to Santiam (Mill City, OR). The Cobras record now stands at 1-12.
The Trojans (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Western Mennonite (Salem, OR). The Pioneers enter the 2A Tri-River contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Western Mennonite trounced East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR), 48-47, in a league contest.
