Maine High School Basketball - Mount Abram ripped by Dirigo
(February 2, 2012: Strong, ME 04983) The Dirigo Cougars basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Mount Abram Roadrunners to 28 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Dirigo will meet a Falcons team coming off a 59-36 non-league win over St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME). The Falcons record now stands at 10-6.
The Roadrunners (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Madison, ME). The Bulldogs enter the C West contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Madison trounced Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME), 74-67, in a league contest.
