Arizona High School Basketball - Mingus topped by Mohave
(January 28, 2012: Bullhead City, AZ 86442) The Mohave Thunderbirds basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Mingus Marauders to 30 in the Thunderbirds league win on Saturday.
With the win, Mohave upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ) to play the Eagles in a II Section II bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Flagstaff lost 57-26 in their recent league bout against Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ)
Next up, the Marauders play the Prescott Badgers (Prescott, AZ) in a II Section II bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Mingus will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Badgers go into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 60-42 league loss to Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ).
