Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Mountain prevails Westwood

(November 29, 2011: Scottsdale, AZ 85259) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) and the visiting Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ), saw Desert Mountain's basketball squad knock off Westwood by a score of 51-38.

With the victory, Desert Mountain improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to McClintock (Tempe, AZ) to battle the Chargers in a I Section III challenge on Thursday, December 1. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. McClintock won 58-57 in their recent league challenge against Mesa (Mesa, AZ)

Next up, the Warriors battle the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) in a I Section III test, on Wednesday, November 30. Westwood will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Toros go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 61-57 league win over Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ).
