(January 16, 2012: Russell, PA ) Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Eisenhower Knights (Russell, PA) and the visiting Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA), saw Eisenhower's basketball squad knock off Oil City by a score of 60-47.

With the victory, Eisenhower improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Saegertown (Saegertown, PA) to battle the Panthers in a District 10 Region 3 challenge on Monday, January 23. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Oilers battle the Youngsville Eagles (Youngsville, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Oil City will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 48-40 non-league win over Sheffield (Sheffield, PA).
