Connecticut High School Basketball - Hillhouse trounces Guilford
(January 27, 2012: Guilford, CT 06437) The Hillhouse Academics (New Haven, CT) basketball crushed the host Guilford Indians (Guilford, CT), 95-39 in Friday's league test.
The Academics (13-0) will now prepare for their test against Law (Milford, CT). The Lawmen go into the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Law was trounced by Hand (Madison, CT), 53-25, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Fairfield Prep for a non-league outing on Monday, January 30. Guilford will encounter a Jesuits squad coming off a 67-65 league win over Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Jesuits record now stands at 11-2.
