Arizona High School Basketball - Sabino overwhelms Catalina

(January 26, 2012: Tucson, AZ 85749) Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Catalina Trojans (Tucson, AZ), witnessed Sabino's basketball squad crush Catalina by a margin of 51-29.

The Sabercats (14-10) will now prepare for their test against Empire (Tucson, AZ). The Ravens go into the non-league test with a 7-15 record. In their last test, Empire was trounced by Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ), 52-33, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 4-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palo Verde for a II Section I test on Friday, January 27. Catalina will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 64-59 non-league win over Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ). The Titans record now stands at 18-4.
