Mississippi High School Basketball - Bailey Magnet falls to Meridian

(November 5, 2011: Meridian, MS 39305) The Meridian Wildcats basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Bailey Magnet Knights to 56 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Starkville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 8.

The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Provine (Jackson, MS). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Provine ran past Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS), 86-71, in a non-league contest.
