North Carolina High School Football - Hoggard topples Q Foundation Academy

(September 23, 2011: Wilmington, NC 28403) The Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) football defeated the visiting Q Foundation Academy Fighting Deacons (Charlotte, NC), 38-22 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a 4A Mideastern bout, on Friday, September 30. Hoggard will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Buccaneers enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC).

The Fighting Deacons (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 3-3 record.
