(December 17, 2008: Miami, FL 33135) The Miami Stingarees basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Hialeah Thoroughbreds to 59 in the Stingarees league triumph on Wednesday.

The Stingarees now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hialeah-Miami Lakes for a 6A District 14 contest on Saturday, January 10.

The Thoroughbreds (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Miami, FL). The Bulls enter the 6A District 14 contest with a 5-1 record.
