Illinois High School Basketball - East prevails O'Fallon

(February 4, 2012: Belleville, IL 62221) East Lancers (Belleville, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting O'Fallon Panthers (O'Fallon, IL), 60-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East upgrades its record to 16-10 on the season. The Lancers host Collinsville (Collinsville, IL) to play the Kahoks in a Southwestern bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Kahoks go into the bout with a record of 13-10. Collinsville lost 59-40 in their recent non-league bout against Highland (Highland, IL)

Next up, the Panthers battle the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) in a Southwestern challenge, on Monday, February 6. O'Fallon will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 52-40 league win over East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL).
