(January 16, 2012: Jackson, MS 39232) The Brandon Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Jackson Prep Patriots to 52 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pearl for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Brandon will meet a Pirates team coming off a 64-52 league win over Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 18-2.

The Patriots (20-1) will now prepare for their contest against Parklane Academy (McComb, MS). The Pioneers enter the MAIS AAA I District 2 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Parklane Academy was defeated by East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS), 66-40, in a non-league contest.
