Illinois High School Basketball - Glenwood over McCluer North
(December 27, 2011: Chatham, IL 62629) Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) and the visiting McCluer North Stars (Florissant, MO), saw Glenwood's basketball team gain a win over McCluer North by a tally of 42-29.
The Titans now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Springfield for a Central State Eight contest on Tuesday, January 3. Glenwood will meet a Senators team coming off a 79-60 non-league win over Notre Dame (Peoria, IL). The Senators record now stands at 10-3.
The Stars (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 11-0 record. In their last contest, Edwardsville beat Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL), 50-33, in a non-league contest.
