Oregon High School Basketball - Seaside fells Estacada
(January 13, 2012: Seaside, OR 97138) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Seaside Seagulls (Seaside, OR) and the visiting Estacada Rangers (Estacada, OR), saw Seaside's basketball squad overcome Estacada by a score of 54-38.
With the victory, Seaside improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Seagulls travel to Banks (Banks, OR) to clash with the Braves in a 4A Cowapa test on Tuesday, January 17. The Braves go into the test with a record of 9-2. Banks won 62-22 in their recent non-league test against Taft (Lincoln City, OR)
The Rangers now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yamhill-Carlton for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Estacada will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 35-33 non-league loss to Central (Independence, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.
