Connecticut High School Basketball - Seymour ripped by Watertown
(January 3, 2012: Seymour, CT 06483) The Watertown Indians basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Seymour Wildcats to 47 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ansonia for a Naugatuck Valley - Brass contest on Thursday, January 5. Watertown will meet a Chargers team coming off a 60-54 non-league loss to Kennedy (Waterbury, CT). The Chargers record now stands at 4-2.
The Wildcats (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Wolcott (Wolcott, CT). The Eagles enter the Naugatuck Valley - Brass contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Wolcott trounced Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT), 69-58, in a league contest.
