Texas High School Basketball - Smyer thwarts Lubbock HomeSchool

(December 12, 2011: Smyer, TX 79367) The Smyer Bobcats (Smyer, TX) basketball felled the visiting Lubbock HomeSchool Titans (Lubbock, TX), 50-32 in Monday's non-league test.

The Bobcats (13-0) will now prepare for their test against New Deal (New Deal, TX). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, New Deal went down by Whitharral (Whitharral, TX), 55-24, in a non-league test.

The Titans now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Levelland for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Lubbock HomeSchool will clash with a Lobos squad coming off a 54-17 non-league win over Lubbock (Lubbock, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 5-7.
