New Mexico High School Baseball - Albuquerque loses to Valley
(April 8, 2009: Albuquerque, NM 87102) The Valley Vikings overwhelmed the host Albuquerque Bulldogs baseball squad by a margin of 18-5 in Wednesday's league battle.
Coming up next, the Vikings play the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 battle, on Saturday, April 11. Valley will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Matadors enter the battle with a 10-7 record after their 13-3 league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host Moriarty for a non-league battle on Friday, April 10. Albuquerque will play a Fighting Pintos squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Fighting Pintos record now stands at 8-5.
