Florida High School Basketball - Olympia thwarts Cypress Creek

(February 3, 2009: Orlando, FL 32824) The Olympia Titans basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Cypress Creek Bears to 52 in the Titans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Titans now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bartow for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 7. Olympia will meet a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 68-64 non-league win over Monsignor Pace (Miami, FL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 18-5.

The Bears (13-11) will now prepare for their contest against South Lake (Groveland, FL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, South Lake ran past East Ridge (Clermont, FL), 54-49, in a non-league contest.
