Texas High School Basketball - Cooper edges Plainview
(November 29, 2011: Lubbock, TX 79423) The Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX), 51-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pirates (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Greenwood (Midland, TX). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Greenwood got by Pecos (Pecos, TX), 77-0, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lubbock HomeSchool for a non-league test on Thursday, December 1. Plainview will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 45-35 non-league loss to San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX). The Titans record now stands at 4-3.
