The Rebels now sport a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hull-Daisetta for a 1A-1 Region IV District 25 battle on Friday, January 13. Evadale will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 35-23 league win over Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-8.

The Oilers (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Big Sandy (Dallardsville, TX). The Wildcats come into the 1A-1 Region IV District 25 bout with a 18-4 record. In their last bout, Big Sandy overwhelmed Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX), 70-40, in a non-league bout.
