Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain View fells South Sioux City
(December 31, 2011: Mesa, AZ 85213) Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) and the visiting South Sioux City Cardinals (South Sioux City, NE), saw Mountain View's basketball squad overcome South Sioux City by a count of 73-61.
With the victory, Mountain View upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Toros host Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ) to play the Mountain Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Mountain Lions come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Red Mountain lost 68-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Linn-Mar Lions (Marion, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. South Sioux City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record.
