(January 5, 2012: Greenwich, CT 06830) The Iona Prep Gaels ice hockey squad scored 4 points and restricted the host Greenwich Cardinals to 3 in the Gaels non-league victory on Thursday.
With the victory, Iona Prep moves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Fordham Prep (Bronx, NY) to face the Rams in a CHSHL A Division contest on Saturday, January 7. The Rams go into the contest with a record of 0-3. Fordham Prep lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY)
The Cardinals now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph for a FCIAC contest on Wednesday, January 11.
