Scoring Summary

In front of a home crowd at St. Andrew's, the Saints placed five wrestlers in the finals of the DISC tournament today, ultimately walking away with two first's, three seconds, as well as four third place finishes. Senior Alec Hill and freshman Ben Cobb stole the show for the Saints, capturing first place finishes. At 132, Cobb dominated his opponent, running the score up to 11-1 before pinning him in the second period with a cradle. At 145, Alec Hill wrestled his opponent to a 0-0 stand-off going into the third period before he escaped, took him down, and eventually won his match via decision, 7-1. Sophomore Charlie Taylor, Senior Troby Roosevelt, and Junior Nick Robert walked away with second place finishes as well. To all St. Andrew's wrestlers, great job and let's gear up for State Qualies next weekend!
