Washington, DC High School Basketball - Model School for the Deaf can't hold off Takoma Academy

(February 9, 2012: Washington, DC 20002) The Takoma Academy Tigers basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Model School for the Deaf Eagles to 29 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seed Academy for a Maryland Independent contest on Wednesday, February 15.

The Eagles (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD). The enter the non-league match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, King's Christian Academy was nipped by Grace Christian Academy (Waldorf, MD), 58-21, in a non-league match.
