Texas High School Basketball - Cooper falls to Brownsboro
(January 27, 2012: Brownsboro, TX 75756) The Brownsboro Bears basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Cooper Bulldogs to 24 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a 3A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 27. Brownsboro will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 84-36 league loss to Bullard (Bullard, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-12.
The Bulldogs (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX). The Foxes enter the 2A Region II District 12 contest with a 14-12 record.
