Florida High School Basketball - Seabreeze holds off New Smyrna Beach

(December 3, 2010: New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168) Seabreeze Sandcrabs (Daytona Beach, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host New Smyrna Beach Barracudas (New Smyrna Beach, FL), 47-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Seabreeze upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Sandcrabs travel to Flagler Palm Coast (Palm Coast, FL) to play the Bulldogs in a 6A District 2 bout on Saturday, December 4. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Barracudas play the DeLand Bulldogs (DeLand, FL) in a 6A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, December 7. New Smyrna Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 65-49 league win over Deltona (Deltona, FL).
