Minnesota High School Basketball - Robbinsdale Armstrong can't hold off Champlin Park
(January 3, 2012: Champlin, MN 55316) The Champlin Park Rebels basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons to 66 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centennial for a Northwest Suburban contest on Friday, January 6. Champlin Park will meet a Cougars team coming off a 91-88 league win over Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 9-3.
The Falcons (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Crimson enter the Northwest Suburban match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Maple Grove tipped Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN), 67-32, in a non-league match.
