Nebraska High School Basketball - Southwest prevails Hayes Center

(January 17, 2012: Indianola, NE 69020) Southwest Roughriders (Indianola, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hayes Center Cardinals (Hayes Center, NE), 44-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southwest upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Dundy County (Benkelman, NE) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Dundy County won 50-38 in their recent non-league bout against Cambridge (Cambridge, NE)

Next up, the Cardinals encounter the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a D2 District 10 bout, on Friday, February 3. Hayes Center will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record.
