Oregon High School Basketball - Elgin can't hold off Stanfield

(January 14, 2012: Elgin, OR 97827) The Stanfield Tigers basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Elgin Huskies to 64 in the Tigers league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union for a 2A Blue Mountain contest on Friday, January 20. Stanfield will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 90-50 league loss to Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-11.
