Oregon High School Basketball - Wilsonville routs Putnam
(January 20, 2012: Wilsonville, OR 97070) In Friday's league outing, the Wilsonville Wildcats (Wilsonville, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Putnam Kingsmen (Milwaukie, OR), by a margin of 83-49.
The Wildcats (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Sandy (Sandy, OR). The Pioneers go into the 5A Northwest Oregon outing with a 4-10 record. In their last outing, Sandy was trounced by Parkrose (Portland, OR), 57-36, in a league outing.
The Kingsmen now own a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Helens for a 5A Northwest Oregon outing on Tuesday, January 24. Putnam will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 56-40 league loss to Liberty (Hillsboro, OR). The Lions record now stands at 2-12.
