Roosevelt High School Wrestling team had a very exciting match against Fresno High School. With Fresno High School receiving five forfeits, in equaling to 30 team points. Roosevelt discovered themselves by pinning Six Warriors for a team total of 30 points, which came up short for the team win. The Roughrider wins in falls came by as follows: Ricardo Casillas-Martinez at 106 lbs., Victor Quintero at 126 lbs., Cesar Pacheco at 132 lbs., Isaiah Ordaz at 147 lbs., Cristobal Zepeda at 152 lbs., and Saul Enciso at 182 lbs. In two exhibition matches we had success with Jonathan Quintero powering his way to a decision victory and Ruben Cervantes pinning his opponent. With this great success as a team, has prepared them for the NYL Tournament at Madera South on February 11th. Good Luck Roughriders!
