Kentucky High School Baseball - Butler prevails Meade County
(May 5, 2011: Louisville, KY 40216) Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Butler Bears (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), saw Butler's baseball squad knock off Meade County by a count of 12-3.
Coming up next, the Bears play the DuPont Manual Crimsons (Louisville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 9. Butler will attempt to move on its 16-4 season record. The Crimsons enter the battle with a 7-12 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY).
The Green Waves now possess a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Breckinridge County for a District 11 battle on Friday, May 6. Meade County will confront a Fighting Tigers team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Waggener (Louisville, KY). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 7-15.
