(January 27, 2012: Alma, KS 66401) In Friday's league outing, the Riley County Falcons (Riley, KS) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Wabaunsee Chargers (Alma, KS), by a count of 87-53.
The Falcons (13-0) will now prepare for their outing against Marysville (Marysville, KS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Marysville smashed Troy (Troy, KS), 59-23, in a non-league outing.
The Chargers now hold a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lyndon for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 31. Wabaunsee will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 37-32 non-league win over Mission Valley (Eskridge, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 8-4.
