Texas High School Basketball - Guyer can't hold off Skyline

(December 28, 2011: Dallas, TX 75227) The Skyline Raiders basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Guyer Wildcats to 42 in the Raiders non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Raiders now sport a 19-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Skyline will meet a Tigers team coming off a 59-46 non-league win over Parkview (Little Rock, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 16-0.

The Wildcats (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Rough Riders come into the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Saginaw was nudged by Crandall (Crandall, TX), 49-43, in a non-league contest.
