(September 23, 2011: Exton, PA 19341) The Coatesville Red Raiders (Coatesville, PA) football edged the host Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA), 20-14 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Red Raiders face the Unionville Indians (Kennett Square, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 30. Coatesville will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 21-14 league loss to Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA).
The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Avon Grove (West Grove, PA). The Red Devils enter the Ches-Mont - National bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Avon Grove nudged Bishop Shanahan (Downingtown, PA), 24-21, in a league bout.
