Texas High School Basketball - Highlands ripped by Lovejoy

(December 8, 2011: San Antonio, TX 78210) The Lovejoy Leopards basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Highlands Owls to 34 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Leopards now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Lovejoy will meet a Chargers team coming off a 60-36 non-league win over Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 13-3.

The Owls (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lehman (Kyle, TX). The enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Lehman was routed by Poth (Poth, TX), 49-48, in a non-league contest.
