Ohio High School Basketball - Bellevue can't hold off Columbian
(January 27, 2012: Bellevue, OH 44811) The Columbian Tornadoes basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Bellevue Redmen to 52 in the Tornadoes league victory on Friday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to New Riegel for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Columbian will meet a Blue Jackets team coming off a 70-63 league win over Seneca East (Attica, OH). The Blue Jackets record now stands at 10-1.
The Redmen (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Willard (Willard, OH). The Crimson Flashes come into the Northern Ohio contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Willard edged Sandusky (Sandusky, OH), 56-52, in a league contest.
