Mississippi High School Basketball - Jackson Prep prevails Presbyterian Christian
(January 21, 2012: Jackson, MS 39232) Jackson Prep Patriots (Jackson, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS), 43-28 in a league bout.
With the win, Jackson Prep upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Patriots travel to Madison Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Madison Ridgeland Academy won 59-33 in their recent non-league bout against Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Parklane Academy Pioneers (McComb, MS) in a MAIS AAA I District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Presbyterian Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 43-39 non-league win over Silliman Institute (Clinton, LA).
