Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Ridge tipped by Cypress Lakes

(February 12, 2010: Houston, TX 77041) The Cypress Lakes Spartans basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Cypress Ridge Rams to 56 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 10-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jersey Village for a 5A Region II District 15 contest on Tuesday, February 16. Cypress Lakes will confront a Falcons team coming off a 67-63 league win over Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 6-18.

The Rams (12-17) will now prepare for their contest against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX). The Bobcats enter the 5A Region II District 15 contest with a 20-9 record. In their last contest, Cy-Fair was nudged by Cypress Creek (Houston, TX), 64-54, in a league contest.
