South Carolina High School Basketball - Denmark-Olar overwhelms Fox Creek

(January 27, 2012: North Augusta, SC 29860) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Denmark-Olar Vikings (Denmark, SC) and the host Fox Creek Predators (North Augusta, SC), saw Denmark-Olar's basketball squad trounce Fox Creek by a count of 53-27.

With the victory, Denmark-Olar upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Williston-Elko (Williston, SC) to play the Blue Devils in a A Region IV challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 13-1.

Next up, the Predators play the Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks (Blackville, SC) in a A Region IV challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Fox Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Fighting Hawks come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 49-44 league loss to Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC).
